DIY: Fix a Frayed Stitch

Our Wally family is built with care to meet our high standards. Unfortunately, the stitching is not immune to wear and tear. If you see frayed edges or loose threads, we have a fix for you!

  • Trim the thread with scissors or nail clippers. 

This might do the trick for you! If not:

  • Light a match or get a lighter going. 
  • Very briefly bring the heat source close to the thread. You will see the thread react to the flame before the leather or ribbon does. It usually takes a really quick pass by the flame to seal the thread.
